Even though embarking on their maiden continental adventure, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Without star figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a comfortable win that virtually guarantees them a place in the Conference League qualifying rounds.

A further victory in their next fixture against Finnish KuPS should be enough to secure direct passage to the knockout stages, especially following a prior setback against Strasbourg.

Fringe Players Grasp the Moment

This match offered a platform for several Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since joining on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second consecutive succession.
