The Gunners' 10-game winning run was ended by the Black Cats prior to the international break, but will the Premier League leaders bounce back against local foes Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated soccer specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still manage to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus AI, fans and a variety of special visitors.
In the twelfth round, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
The singer's new record, the new release, is out on the weekend.
Olly is a talented soccer player as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a benefit game the other night for a mate of mine," he explained. "The team was losing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my child or son chooses to play instead."
Murs and his wife his partner have two children, their daughter and Albert, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their manager.
"I won't push football on our kids but I've previously told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be coaching their Saturday football team," he added.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a while too.
"My father did it with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our side for two or three seasons and had a wonderful time with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
The Blues might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their attack is already stronger with Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
I still think this fixture will be quite close, however. The Clarets are disciplined and their sole home losses so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
This smells of a one-all tie to me, but I am in fact going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third league win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
Olly's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple matches - although both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me.
In contrast, the Hammers won two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear strong again.
The Hammers' sole on the road win this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when West Ham manager Nuno was previously Forest manager.
Therefore, what exactly do I go with here - can the Hammers continuing their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?
I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I believe what happened against Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
The guest's outlook: Bournemouth are performing strongly but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the campaign began, but they have impressed a few observers under their manager and are in good form with three in their last four matches.
A family member advised me to get Bees forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks ago and, guess what, I didn't listen.
The forward will likely score again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or support Brentford at Brighton's ground.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the road this term, and Brighton are always strong at their stadium. Brentford will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I think the home manager's side carry much more of a threat.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
Olly's view: It could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a many scores but it actually proves to be rather close. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
It is a massive game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
They have got plenty of talent in their team but it nonetheless feels like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.
Regarding Sunderland, indeed they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.
The away side's display in the two-all tie with Arsenal last time out was superb. We've not seen anyone else disrupt the Gunners like that this season, and they were more than a match for them.
The logical choice to do to support the visitors here, because they are obviously able of roughing Fulham up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat the Blues at the end of October.
But I am not choose that. Instead, I really need to continue opposing the away team with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they clearly love to prove me wrong.
Looking at Fulham's home form, the only side they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Marco Silva's side will be extremely eager for a good result, so I am going to say they will secure three points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
Olly's prediction: I know the visitors are performing strongly and additionally that the hosts are on a poor streak... but they have still been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's prediction: 2-0
This is a tough fixture to call. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 games in every tournament, but could they be among the teams who benefit from the {international break|
