Seattle engineered a stunning fightback to defeat the Rams in overtime, securing their place in the postseason.

Overcoming a sixteen-point hole in the final period, the Seattle squad emerged victorious by a single point at home, registering their fifth straight victory.

While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a post-season spot earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team booked their return to the postseason after a two-year absence.

With this result, the Seahawks now lead their division's standings with a twelve and three mark, replacing the Los Angeles, who dropped to the number five playoff position with an 11-4 standing.

Signal-caller Sam Darnold had two interceptions but regrouped to deliver two touchdown passes, culminating in the tying score to star receiver Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a 13-7 lead at half-time before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a 55-yard scoring dash for the home side.

Rams defensive back Wallace then returned Darnold's initial interception for a big return, setting up a one-yard touchdown by Blake Corum on the next play.
